As the farm comes back to life in the Spring, students will experience firsthand the cycles of planting, growth, and harvest with our expanded garden that now includes veggies and flowers! Our aim is to expose kids to a healthy farm ecosystem so they gain a deeper imagination for how plants, animals, bugs, water, birds, and more are beautifully intertwined. We'll also invite the kids into cooking and creating, turning what's harvested from the garden into healthy, homemade dishes or beautiful floral bouquets. In this class students will germinate seeds, plant seedlings, care for our animals, build a worm bin, create compost, and regularly taste and smell all the plants we're growing.
