Gathered Oak is a unique educational experience for kids in TK-5th grade that is centered around nature and farm life. Our 2000-square-foot barn has been transformed into a classroom, and the indoor/outdoor flow allows kids to have constant access to nature. We offer lessons in gardening, nature, farming, etc. accompanied by Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Math lessons and concepts. We believe that education should be a beautiful and fun-filled experience for all children, so our lessons incorporate art, STEM, music, movement, and nature.

We know that children learn in all different ways and that there is not a one-size-fits-all way of teaching. For this reason, we use a variety of methods and strategies to engage with each child so that everyone's needs are met. Children will have the opportunity to explore and discover through self-directed, cooperative, and hands-on learning. We are thrilled to invite kids into the process of growing a garden, hatching chickens from eggs, celebrating the seasons, and so much more. We would love to have your child join us!

We offer one, two, and three-day farm school programs. Students in our one-day program meet on Mondays, and students in our 2-day program meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our 3-day program is an academic track that meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for an extended time. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, we offer a variety of elective classes. Kids can come for just the morning program, just the electives, or for the entire day. Choose the schedule that works best for you!
